Gold Rush

In the late 1890's, prospectors flocked to the Yukon looking for gold. Now, in 2012, shoppers flock to retailers and markets across the region looking for gold accessories and furniture. Funny how the times have changed! Though the products are not made of literally gold, we are looking for gold hues, most commonly made of brass or another material disguised as gold.

The best unique gold accessories are found in flea markets and antique shops. Though we have been seeing silver and nickle being the most popular metal in trends, I think gold is making a triumphant return!
